Faster Wireless Network
A faster wireless network is coming soon to Myrtle Beach, and users are sure to notice the increase in data transmission speed. This will be a boon for smartphone users in the area who are sick of waiting for websites to load and movies to download. The faster network will offer upgrade options thanks to improved technology at area cell phone providers.
T-Mobile and AT&T will be offering an speedier network known as HSPA+, which will offer an improvement on the existing 3G network that is now in place. The HSPA+ Network doesn't quite reach 4G speeds, but AT&T and Verizon Wireless are planning to introduce a true 4G LTE network in the area over the next several years. This could offer speeds between ten and 20 times faster than what is available today.
